Meet Caroline, Our Philadelphia City Leader
I’m beyond excited to announce our Philadelphia City Leader is the lovely, light-filled, planet-loving Caroline of Plant Based Blonde. This goddess makes conscious living simple by spreading positivity, awareness, and empowerment through her passion for plant-based food and the planet. We met over the interwebs through our shared love for dogs and vegan food, and while we’ve never met IRL, I consider her a dear friend because she embodies the qualities I value most: authenticity, compassion, and gratitude.
How long have you been plant-based?
Coming up on 5 years vegan
What made you commit to a plant-based lifestyle?
I went vegan for the animals. I am plant based for my health and the health of our planet.
What was the most difficult part on your journey to becoming plant-based?
The hardest part for me was existing in a world with people who couldn't care less when you couldn't care more.
What are you most looking forward to in the plant-based market?
The ever expanding cheese market!
Which innovations in the plant-based industry interest you most?
Who is the most inspirational plant-based person in your life?
I was the first person within my family and circle of friends to go vegan. I drew most of my inspiration from my community on social media. @erinireland is someone I have admired for years.

What is your best advice for someone who wants to commit to a plant-based lifestyle?
You don't have to do it overnight.
